With two years experience in serving families and a tremendous passion for all things birth, Brittany Credit has been considered a wonderful asset to families who engage her services. Her desire to educate and raise awareness about birthing options has made her a leading authority on birth rights in her community. Having fondly been referred to as a chic "birth geek", Brittany boasts that her clients have the satisfaction of knowing they will always have her to turn to for up to date answers on a myraid of birth related topics. 

 

      Brittany, a certified labor and postpartum doula, took a great interest in birth work after she was inspired by the comfort of her own doula at the birth of her second son. As her knowledge grew she became more involved in her community and the idea of women supporting women. She also acts as a La Leche League peer counselor for the La Leche League of Tiffin - Seneca County and is an avid volunteer with the Sandusky County Breastfeeding Coalition.

 

All of Brittany's experiences have played a major role in influencing her to pursue a career and calling as a birth doula. In 2013 she completed her birth doula training through New Beginnings Doula Training and the following year she completed both her birth doula and postpartum doula certifications through ProDoula. A life-long learner, she continues to research and study all things related to birth, babies, and motherhood.

 

     Brittany resides in beautiful Tiffin, Ohio with her husband Thomas, their three boys Thomas, Ulysses, and Ewan and their two oriental shorthair cats. When not supporting a family as a doula, Brittany enjoys organic gardening, hiking and homeschooling.
